Those prices arn't bad at all for being marked up hard.

$270 for a 9mm straight?

That's the point, EE . . . You made a contradictory statement there. If they had worked stems and slides that would be an awesome price.

A straight tube 45cm x 5mm for $180 is at least 20% overpriced. I would admire those tubes. . . and I do I have been waiting for the new honalee gong tubes to come out. . . Just wouldn't buy for that price. Still holding out for a trip to tahoe kush to hook up with a toro.

the price i paid included 36 dollar shipping and got here in two days from oregon to south carolina, cant get these around here, a roor 7mm will run you much much more and this thing is far superior in my opinion. thinking back on the prices I have paid for most of my other tubes.......this was a great deal

Nice tube and milk!

HAY GUYS I CAN GET GLASS CHEAPER THAN THIS GUY

who cares, there will ALWAYS be someone who can get something cheaper than someone else

Pretty sure there are NO 9mil tubes out there with comparable pricing, except for ADS/PURE which is pure SHIT smeared glass.

You expect people to make something that is pure quality and put hours of hardwork into , and then sell it without making money? Pretty sure those prices are nearly better than most retail places.

Ok , I'm no mathematician, just checked your math.

150 bucks for a 7 mil bro? Maybe in china.

Good luck getting ANY toro for under 200 hundred bucks, much less a 7 mil or one with any kind of diffuser option.

People like you really chap my ass Lost coaster.

Toros are 300 and up, and they have mega filtration capabilities.

Get some thicker ass chaps then fruit. We are discussing glass and all that goes with it.

You are making up arguments nobody ever posed. What I did in fact say, was the 5mm (Five milli-meter) x 45 was too much IMO.

Back when i could get glass i got a 5mm 24" toro for $200. 270 for 9mm doesn't seem to bad.

My local shop sells them for $300.

be glad you have that crazy hook up.

It depends man a 45 X 5 straight .DE icemaster is 400 bux canadian now off of EDIT. I think the point of bitfreak glass is to provide ppl that don't have head shops all around them the ability to pick up nice glass. Therefore, paying a little extra is not even a big deal especially when shipping is included. If you can get it cheaper go buy it no one wants to hear you go on about how much you can get their tube for!

EVERYONE uses schott
im not sure how this is possible, unless there are different grades of schott glass, which there very well could be for all I know.
In hand ive got multiple toros, and multiple roor.de's right now. the toro feels like shit in comparison more like a sunfire or some type of american car, and the .de is stable as a german car. even after cleaning them, the roor shines back at your face, where the toro seems more cloudy when you look through the glass on the sidewalls, and has a yellow tinge throughout the glass.
the toro also feels very wavy around any weld. with all of those differences though, toros are difinately worth the price, .de's are pricey.

linsen

I lie., theres schott, and simax, simax is just as good and german aswell. The only difference is how fume reacts and grows in the clear.

There are all kinds of different things that could have caused those differences, roor may gather more at the mouth and foot, the tinge could be anything, tube could have been sweaty or had finger prints on it before they started working it...not sure about your clean comparison...clean glass is clean glass...mine shine just like any of my pieces

Is your toro older? Maybe it could use some dish detergent on the next cleaning...

As far as sloppy welds...the glass used isn't gonna make a difference if the guy sealing it wasn't taking his time..mine are all high quality except for that fixed stem, that tree is leaning just a tad towards the joint, but is all fine and good with me because just getting that seal up in the tube like that has to be a fucking BITCH. Kinda hard to wrap your mind around it....
