so im on my first full sized grow right now.
2 600w hps over a 4x6 area with 14 blue dream
3.5 gallon hydroton top feed drip system
floranova, floranectar, koolbloom, hygrozyme
temps and humid have been in check
light PM few weeks back but taken care of with zone/penetrator

i am 7 weeks into flower right now, my canopy is looking very nice
but i dont have the fat fat colas like i see in pictures??
i believe my plants will go to 10 weeks, 11 at the latest
the buds are developing nicely, but have not filled in? they look spread out
and like they possible wont connect to form full colas.
i vegged under 600w mh and did not experience much stretch for a sativa

when do 10-12 week strains really start to fill out? not till that last couple weeks? or is what im looking at now what ill have at chop

i was hoping for at least some coke can sized colas, but right now the biggest ones are more like a shot glass.

i am not worried though as everything seems to be going fine. i am just starting to experience a little N deficiency which might be a little early (anyone?) but other than that all good. smells nice and resin production is good.

sorry for the crap pics

and on the other hand, the GFK is starting to bulk up nicely and the calyxes are starting to swell in that kush-like fashion:):):)

also i wanted to ask

i switched to bloom nutes the day i switch to 12/12. made newb mistake and didnt realize the girls would need N for a couple more weeks until they actually kicked into flower mode
i believe this is why im starting to go deficient a little early? anything i can do?

and on some leaves, mostly inner fan leaves in the shade, they are getting a dead green color with dead grey/lightbrown spotches on the tips and margins. it almost looks like a fungus of some sort not a deficiency, although there isnt any visible growth of any kind.
these leaves quickly turn brown and wilt and dry.
while i understand this is common during flower, dont leaves normally turn yellow first, indicating the nutrients being used up. while my leaves are kinda just being affected, and then wilting and drying real quick
