Well... I don't know anything about 32 gal garbage cans etc. because I'm European...
So, for the 5 and 20 gal sets, what would be the perfect dimensions for a bucket (diameter and height).
What would be maximum diameter while still being able to fold the bags around the edges of the bucket?

Here we have places like Home Depot we can go to to buy stuff like that. They sell new 5 gallon paint pails{these are perfect}. 20 gallon garbage pails are out there too. Good luck. Peace GS

Buckets and pails in Europe are probably sold by metric volumes, here in North America we still have both systems in use.
5 gallon [US, liquid] = 18.927 liter
20 gallon [US, liquid] = 75.708 liter
I think somewhere I saw Bubbleman say the big sets were closer to 30 gallons in actuality (but dont quote me)
30 gallon [US, liquid] = 113.562 liter

The Bubble Bags 20 gallon set is actually a 32 gallon and in the EU will fit a 121 liter container.
The 5 gallon will fit a 19 liter container.

Does anyone have the diameters/heights for the bags?
Would suck to buy a bucket just to find that I can't fold the bag around the edges.
This one is 19 inches: http://www.globalindustrial.com/gcs/prod/30134206/i/productInfo.web?utm_source=nextag&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Containers-Plast-nextag&infoParam.campaignId=WI
I guess that's pretty much what you're talking about? Or are the bags even wider than that?

This is a dumb question from a rookie, but...what is the optimum size bucket to use for the 1 gallon, 8 bag set? Shouldn't it be bigger than 1 gallon AND...should the inner bag touch the bottom of the bucket?

I just use a 1 gallon salt beef pail I had lying around to mix with my 1 gallon kit. I line the bags right to the bottom of the bucket and never had a problem. You are straining everything when you pull your bags anyways. Always, had full melt results.
