Yo everyone,

The top cola and most of the upper branches on my plant are all completely mature. However, a few of the bottom branches aren't all the way there. I'm worried that the top branches will become over-mature. They have been ready to cut for a couple days, but I'm still waiting on the lower parts of the plant. They have about a week or so to go.

My question is, can I harvest the buds that are done and let the rest of the plant continue growing? Thanks for reading!

yes, many people harvest in smaller batches....the top of the plant usually finishes first so people end up with two seperate harvests

Alright awesome. The top cola is the main part that I want to harvest first, so should I cut the main stem or try to cut the individual buds off. I want to minimize the time it will take the plant to heal. Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it!

just cut through the main stem under the branches you want to harvest, try to leave some main stem sticking up to dry up after the cut, the rest will continue to ripen.

My pot of gold tops always take longer than the rest of the plant, so i take everything off the bottom and the tops ripen up quickly,
