holy shit! a wopper of a price tag on that one. and it says it uses 1/3 the power of conventional set-ups. a watt is a watt any way you look at it! plus, a 4"6' table with 45 gallon rezz, two 1000w's, and nut's, medium and odds'n'ends is about 4 grand cheaper. Aero-systems or aqua-farms are cheap as well. especially if you know how to make em'.

im not bubbleman, but i have researched these rigs a bit..they can be had for $2,000 for a 600watt 80 plant set up, but the biggest problem is getting plants with genetics that stay small. i read a few journals where the genetics of the plants made them all grow into the light almost..burned the buds. here is bubblemans article wit the expensive good roto's:

sorry, it didnt post my previous responce. the link is for a guy near my house that got pop'd using a homemade version years ago.

i yield 10lb for 6-1000w hps, 30plants in 5g buckets. my partner did 17lbs with the same set up but double the lights 12 10000w.
a pound per 1000 watts is great, but 10, 5, or even 2.5...wow. im skeptical.
there are pro/cons- the biggest for me is medical laws limiting the number of plants.
they are a sight to see though....
