View Full Version : Spring is in the Air

03-02-2008, 02:39 AM
today i rolled up a friends place early around 10:30am. These flowers were all closed, within an hour the sun came Around and opened up each and everyone of them.
a few bee's were even in the area to collect pollen,
anyway these are the shots i managed to get before my battery died. taken with the 60mm canon macro lens

03-10-2008, 10:20 PM

Beautiful pics yall! .Yesterday I found a foot tall marijuana plant growing in my backyard randomly and have no idea how it got there as I didnt smoke out there or toss seeds.Nature is great.Peace

04-30-2008, 09:14 PM
Cool, one time years ago I took a shortcut past the backyard of a house my friend had vacated a few months earlier, and right by the back step where he used to keep the trash was a 3 foot tall female canna-bush. The place was still empty so she was 'liberated' in short order, lol.

Accidental plantings can be amusing. I've seen people at houseparties stick seeds in random housplants' pots, and often wondered what became of them. Did they sprout? were they weeded out? Or did a big skunky bush take over a fern pot in the front window? How about the seeds tossed into the flower boxes at City Hall?.....

If everyone planted cannabis in every public park, flowerbox, planter, and empty lot everywhere all the time in a random manner, how much of it would survive? I think that perhaps a springtime of random planting is in order. :) Nature IS cool.

well went out to the back yard again today to see what i could find. and found some very lovely subjects to shoot

last is a type of stick bug i shot in the city at a bug laboratory. learning centre for kids.
