If I were to start growing indoors sometime, what kind of light would be good for a smaller-scale grow in an apartment if I get one anytime in the somewhat near future? I'm not sure if there will be periodic maintenance visiting to take care of the place like there was a few times at the last apartment I was at, so I might have to conceal the grow in a small area like a closet in one of the rooms, in which case I'm thinking I'd hopefully be able to fit two plants. For this small of a grow, what would be the most efficient, cost-effective, and preferrably inexpensive choice of light? I'm guessing some kind of smaller hps?

I'll probably like to get a little more into this topic pretty soon.

Thanks a lot,
Joe

How big is the area of your closet?? I would go with a 400W hps or a 25o if it is a small area

^^^^ what he said. i would just rock out on a smaller hps like Evergreen said. Maybe veg with a small t5 if the space is real small.

In my last aparment, I think there were somewhat varying sized closets, with the biggest looking like they could fit maybie a few plants. Is wattage associated with size of hps lights, because I thought I've seen lower (like 70 watt) wattage - wouldn't that work? It'd be nice to not have to spend about a hundred bucks.
