View Full Version : Positive vibes, no hate

BigManNew

Hey FMB, I'v been in a lot of threads recently where people are talking bad about other people, other peoples pieces, and just straight up hating on each other. When I first came to FMB it seemed to me like this problem did not exist as much as it does now.

So I have decided to make this thread where people can post whatever they like as long as it is POSITIVE. Also if you don't know where to post something I think it is okay to say you can post it in this thread.

So without waiting any longer let the positive vibes flow from within us into this thread and let us block out the hate.

Also I would like to apologize to anyone I might have offended in the past on this site.

Sorry Mods, I did not know where else to put this thread. If there is a problem do what you please.

Sincerely yours,
BMN

This thread will be reborn when it is needed.

I think you might have missed the message I was trying to get across to everyone. And I am not talking about other threads in this thread so please don't bring that up.

It seems to me that we say good things to others when something bad happens to them to show our sympathy. I think we should just fill this thread with POSITIVE post's (and if you don't know where to post something you can post it in here).

Is this too much to ask the community?

Thank you,
BMN

Today I saw in urban dictionary a mention of Bubbleman. I think its really cool to be say that I have talked to him in chat and that I'm part of his website considering all that he really has done. Its really taking THC consumption to the next level. I have yet to experience the Full Melty Melt but one thanks to this website I"m sure one day I will be able to experience it. I at least have the knowledge on how to make it if I ever can.

Here is the link (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Bubble%20Hash)

Thanks BMan

I like the idea for the thread man everyone could use some good vibes. As for me I just bought a new car today so all the stress of car shopping is over. I'm burning the last of my Grand Daddy Purp out of my illadelph to celebrate. Also I picked up a half ounce of what my dealer said was sour deisel for 160 which is a good deal for my area and it definately smells like gasoline which leads me to believe it's legitimate. Hope everyone else had as good a weekend as I did. Positive vibes!

Thank you guys very much for keeping it positive, it has put a smile on my face.

Today I finished a table I had been working on for about 1-2 months and finished that last clear water proof coat I had to put on, I will take pictures of it right now and post it up.

The table has folding legs, and is 7 feet long by 3 feet wide. It is made out of African Mahogany. Also Me and some of my friends made some sick art on it.

I hope you enjoy it.

Damn Cain is a sick dog, I love that breed. He looks like a very chill friend.

Capt. Kush, I am sorry to hear about your father. My pop died when I was 10 years old so I can level with you and I understand what you are saying.

Thank you Razz, and Yawbus that is awesome that you found that!

TheHodGod, 160 for a half O of Sour D, damn that is one hell of a deal!
I wish we had prices like that where I live.

Hey ToRo Head, That table is actually going to serve as a stow away beer pong table and it will act as my kitchen table when I move into my new apartment in California.

I am really stoked, I am moving to Cali January 17th to take up a glass blowing apprenticeship and I am also trying to work out getting a lesson a week from Smiley.

Looks like you're down again
Feel pushed around again
Now if you need a friend
I will listen to what you send
Somebody done you wrong
Saw it coming all along
Now peace of mind is gone
You can change that if you're strong

Sing a new song
Leave the past behind
Take a closer look at now
And see what we can find
Sing a new song

I see a shining light
Cut through the dark of night
You don't have the right
To keep that I tuck inside
In your mind try to see
Just who you want to be
Now you've got the key
You’ve got to turn it and set yourself free

I like the table BMN, its very trippy. I bet there are some good stories behind some of those drawings!

Thats an awesome dog ToRo Head, what breed is it? I have a German Shepard/Retreiver mix myself that I love to chill with after a good session. He's a good 105 lbs, but is the calmest, most gentle dog I have ever had.

Fullmeltbubble that is a song by String Cheese Incident, correct? Some positive lyrics indeed!

Yea, I am currently in Colorado. But I can find anyone out here who wants to do an apprenticeship. So I am taking one up with my original Glass teachers in Cali.

O man, I didn't realize that was the song Sing a New Song by The String Cheese Incident. I haven't listened to them in a while although the song Sirens from the album Untying the Knot came on the radio the other day

sending some good vibes your way..... keep ur chin up and go easy bro....

good vibes to everyone!, some of you may know i have had a life changing experience. on December 25th 2009 my father passed away at the tender age of 49. I buried him on December 31, 2009. I have never had to do anything so difficult in my life. My life was worry-free before this horrible incident, but i only appreciated life to a certain extent. Now that i have lived through this tragic nightmare, i have undoubtedly changed my perspective on life forever. People need to learn to appreciate life and wish good fortune upon everyone. we are all on the same path of life until we ultimately take in our last breath on this physical earth.... Appreciate life! tell everyone how you really feel!! dont wait until its too LATE!! live in the moment and show love to people!

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE ON THIS MYSTERIOUS PATH OF LIFE!

I live in Colorado, but I am moving to California and the artists I will be learning from live in apple valley. Apple Valley is not a very long drive from where I am going to be living. I set it up by taking a few glass lesson over the last 2 years from these guys in Cali and I decided I want to have a career in glassblowing. So I decided to call and ask the guys who taught me if they new of anyone who I could do something like that with and they told me they would love to help out (more or less in those words). I guess you just have to know some people in the glass culture, and show your love for the craft.

P.S. I honestly can't think right now and I will add more tomorrow when I am not so tired. The almost everything I wrote, about how to get one is probably a little off lol

My dog Bear (Golden Retriever) died 2 years ago from a heart attack. He was the best dog I have ever had. I'm thinking about getting a Labrador when I move out to California.

bghjkl, ganjalicious, and kudos,

Also to all the other people, through this website and others, who by whatever course of actions and through no fault of their own have found themselves to be taken advantage of by people still welcome in the community.

I send good vibes to the people who are on the other side, and the admins and mods of this site(with great power comes great responsibility) and to wish that we all can remain humble and true to our roots.

To all have personal responsibility for out actions,

and not look down on others for lacking in experience when the willingness to learn, educate and grow, is present.

Picked this up today from Heady Glass. It is a sandblasted spoon made by KRAIG, it is black with green that leads up to a reversal on the front of the bowl. The carb hole is huge! I have been waiting a long time to go down to Denver and pick this piece up. I didn't have time to go to Hedmans shop tho. (a little disappointing, but another time)

Here is the picture of it I grabbed from heady glass because I dont want a crappy Iphone picture for this piece.

Yea, Jim has not been a glassblower for very long, maybe less than a year and he is pumping out some very sick work. I wonder what type of work he will be doing a year from now.

Anyone have any tips on how to safely get through Utah with my medical marijuana? I am already going to follow all the driving laws very strictly, but anything you all have to say would be quite helpful.

Thanks,
BMN

If you have access to a filesharing network, try searching for a dvd called "Never Get Busted!" by Barry Cooper. He tells you everything you need to know about driving with stash. Where to hide it, where not to hide it, what to do if a police car pulls you over, etc.

I'd like to recommend his DVD's to anyone who can get them. They are very informative.
His other DVD is called "Never Get Raided!", VERY nice hints if you happen to have 'extra' weed lying around or if you grow your own.

well i dont know about anyone else but ive been cooped up in the snow and cold on the east coast for a couple months now and the weather is just starting to get beautiful...for anyone else in my situation, they know EXACTLY what this means, time to get on 2 wheels!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my 2006 gsx-r600, this bike is extremely special to me, i feel like there aren't too many things that you can do that truly take your mind off of a shitty day or a bad experience, and being on the open road in rural areas on two wheels is absolutely one of those things, this thread is awesome and i felt good just reading it, good vibes guys keep it up

thanks for the comment ripps, i couldnt agree more about the different kind of high its definitely an experience in itself being on one, its hard to not want to hit the throttle on it ill say that, but i enjoy living too much to be ripping down the highway at a buck 50 on one wheel, as lame is it may sound, going the speed limit in the sun on a nice day is enough thrill for me haha, enjoy that stang for spring and summer, throw up some pics if you got any!

Yeah, those things start to scare the absolute shit outta me at about 100. I got pics of the stang on my computer. I'll throw em up when I get the chance. (I'm on my iPhone)

Hey Kush, thanks for stopping in. I see you use to be in BC have you heard anything good about the college Capilano? I hear they have a pretty good glass blowing studio there. Depending on how much money you are willing to spend for lessons, I have a few people in the Santa Barbara/Ventura area who are really good. Just PM me and I'll give you the list of blowers that I know to help ya out.

So recently after living in California for 3 years I have moved back to the great state of Colorado. I met quite a few glassblowers (and learned a lot [in glassblowing]) in Cali and now 2 of them want to come out and blow glass in Fort Collins with me and one is moving in.

Yay.

Also I got a Golden Retriever puppy a bit before I made the drive. He has been named Malachi Kaja. Malachi is such an awesome dog and only 17 weeks old. Pictures coming soon...

Found it.

P.S. I hope everyone is well. Hello again to the mods. /wave at Razz, GS, Bman and kush
