View Full Version : Getting the Biggest from LST

Im getting into Low Stress Training my plants and wondering what you think of my technique. Its not the tie down version, but instead im using bag ties from the grocery stores to tie leaves on top of eachother and get a lil more sun to the middle of the stem

I dont plan on keeping them like this for long maybe a few weeks. By the way this is my first grow so any advice is welcome

in my opinion you want the sun on the leaves, not so much the stem, especially this early in the game. I think those fans would be happier all spread out soaking up the sun, but that's just me.

I have a little advise....Your pot is too full. The water will run off more than soak in...Also try to bury your rock wool pot a little deeper... the wind and sun will suck the moisture out of the cube.The top of the soil should be more sunken in instead of puffin out... Just my .02 Peace.... Oldschool

looks like the whole tree is covered in 'reveg' leaves... Did you perhaps let the cutting flower by accident?

We had some of those leaves when we reveg'd a mom in our current room... I could be wrong but I'm just relating to my experience.

No I broke the stems to bend them and it started shooting out these single leaf leaves. Weird but I didnt like bending the stems so my other plants i tied the Colas down

What we have here is a Outdoor plant in cali..put out early without any supplemental lighting.(to prevent flowering)
she has Pre-flowered...from the time you put her out until June 21st
@ which point she began to Re-Veg.
and now she is very confused w/her hormones


it will prolly be fine come September...but the flowers You r seeing rt now will be long gone by then (The Elements/mold will take them)


also "Ladybugs" r hunters....if it was there ....that indicates the presence of a Food source...most likely Aphids


just keep her happy til harvest...she will do the rest

Nice clarification. I had to remove some of the lower more hidden leaves because of small mold down there. I know not to continue to trim past the 3rd week of flowering. We will see how the leaves form this time around. Yaknow?

just got rid of all the deformed, twisting, reveg leaves. hopefully she will shoot out some solid regrowth shoots/stems this time around

Went away for two weeks and she molded over n dried out the super early flowering bullshit which grew.
I know the last picture looks like shit but I cut all that off as soon as I returned and now she's doing good.
