Some genetics I started late in the season, 5 Hunza Valley Pakistani, 3 Mango and 5 SAGE F2s. I'll post the outdoor pics later since I'm still editing them, so you can see what they look like in their new backyard home. Never have grown Indicas this late in the year, before, but they should be done by the end of October or thereabouts [wish me luck].

Wow, nice. By October I expect it to be about -20C, slightly too cold for outdoor cannabis, lol.

It gets a little cooler here in the desert [about 60° or thereabouts], by October, but not arctic cold.

Here are the seedlings in their new outdoor environment, the first pic is the legend to identify what is what with the orange dots representing the Mango and the bright pink dots representing the SAGE F2s. I planted the Hunza Valley Pakistanis in a different locale and will post pics a little later, while I add some camo here and there ;). The rest of the pics are just to show them a little better.

So far, they're doing ok. Been raining a lot here so I'm worried about the excess moisture once these Indica dominant strains start to bud. Found one male Mango, so far, will more than likely collect some of it's pollen and use it to hit all three strains once I harvest the larger buds, by hitting the popcorn buds [if all goes well and I actually harvest something]. The Hunza Valley genetics totally put out an intense chocolate smell, which you can smell from three feet away [that part of the yard smells like a candy store and it's barely into pre-flower].

I'm feeling a lot better, my friend, thanks. Yeah, I thought about that once I had plugged them in, but it was the only way I could give them some sort of cover next to that Vitex tree with its non serrated canna looking leaves and the Acacia bushes. I'll do it a lot different next year, plus I'll have the indoor space up and running by then, as well.

Thanks, linsen. Yeah, the Hunza Valley are awesome from what little I've read on the internet and from the information given to me by the kind soul that gifted me these genetics. The smell is absolutely spectacular and just keeps getting better and better [I can imagine what they'll smell like once they get filled out in eanest and acquire that final dank smell]. The weather has been good to us, so far and the rains were a welcome sight, indeed [helps replenish our regions aquifer and bolson system]. Plus, the winds have kept things from getting overly humid and/or moldy, which is a great thing where budding Indicas are concerned. Take care, be well and stay frosty, my friend.

As we speak, my friend, it's a nice 65° here right now and we have a nice steady breeze out of the East. The next few weeks are going to be in the 80° range [once the sun comes out] and the nights will be cool in the 60° range. I think this will do my plants a world of good.

Thanks, Albi, the funny thing, is, that the one I thought wouldn't hermi [1 Mango, other 2 were male] went hermaphrodite and the HVP's are straight up female. But, I'll keep my eyes open for anymore funny business. Thanks again for the wonderful gift you shared with me, my friend.

Thanks, Evac, I'm trying the best I can to pull off a successful harvest. Here are some pics from this morning. The SAGE haven't started throwing pistils at the top like the Mango and HVP, but they still pre-flowered female, so I'm just waiting for the little pistil crown up top.

Sorry if I don't post as often as most growers, but my plants are slow compared to other grows and I'm not really using ferts. I tried using some leftover ferts I had but they burned my plants and the HESI coco nutes really aren't for soil [let alone the Canna nutes I have for indoor coco use]. I used to be all stoked about posting a grow show, but since my little grow is lame compared to other grows, I always end up feeling self conscious about it. Either way, though, I'll post as they get bigger and fill out, please just bear with me.

Well, I finally pulled the last Mango and everything else is doing well without any signs of male pollen sacks. Once the buds start looking like buds I'll post more pics.

Today was a beautiful and sunny 73° day with a nice steady breeze. The main garden is now down to 5 SAGE F2s and 2 HVP's [the other 3 HVP's are doing good, as well]. The SAGE have pre-flowered female but have yet to start throwing pistils like the Hunza Valley girls, still, they are nice and big. Here are some pics of the garden and the girls in full sunshine. Looks like I'll be harvesting the HVP way before the SAGE get finished [if all goes well].

You're welcome, linsen, they smell totally awesome, too. Especially the HVP, which smell like hashy chocolate, the SAGE smell kinda skunky, but you have to rub the stem a little. Other than that, the only ones that smell strong as you get within several feet of them are the HVP.

I sure hope so, from what I've read, the SAGE should have a nice fresh woodsy scent when finished. But since it's an F2, the scent may be altogether different. Since the original is a cross between Big Sur Holy and an Afghani Indica [Big Sur Holy x Afghani Indica], different traits may surface and become dominant. Either way, it's going to be some nice smoke if all goes well. As for the HVP, it's a straight Pakistani land race, so there should be all sorts of different phenos and traits with a small risk of hermaphrodites thrown in for fun. Here's a pic of the HVP #3 that's in a different location in the yard and not a part of the main garden.

Watered my girls with straight tap water, today, to moisten the soil and then gave them a combination of HESI nutrients, beneficial's and CarboLoad for the beneficial's. So far the Hunza Valley genetics are the only ones throwing out pistils, the SAGE girls are still kind of slow, but I know they'll surprise me one of these days and start throwing out mad pistils. here are a few pics showing the HVP girls doing their thing. I'll post some pics of the SAGE girls sometime next week, just to give them a chance to get a little bigger and to see if they start throwing out pistils like the HVP girls. On the bright side, they're all smelling mighty good, especially the Hunza Valley Pakistani girls [hardcore choco/hash]

They seem to look that way, for sure, but land races always seem to have all sorts of different looking phenos. I'm pretty sure they're Indica dominant, but there could have been some Sativa pollen floating around in the Hunza Valley [we may never really know]. I think they're definitely going to produce some top notch medicine, linsen [at least I hope they do].

Pictures of the SAGE F2s, the garden in general and a side detailed veiw of HVP 02. So far, the SAGE girls haven't started throwing out pistils as aggressively as the Hunza Valley girls, even though they've all pre-flowered female, but I'm sure they'll surprise me when I least expect it. Sorry if the pics seem kind of fuzzy, but even with the Steady Shot on, the wind still trumps this technology feature [still, it did a pretty good job of making them look like they're not moving].

My Hunza Valley girls are starting to get into their own and three of the SAGE F2s [#s 1,3 & 5] are starting to do so, as well. The other two SAGE F2s are still lagging [2 & 4], but they're catching up. Took some pics of the girls to show their progress, I hope you enjoy my humble little girls and how they're doing. Some folks have asked me whether my HVP girls have some Sativa in them. They don't [I did some research], since they're 100% land race Indica. The reason some leaves look fatter than others is because the thinner leaves on the HVP are C. Indica and the ones with fatter leaves are C. Afghanica. Cannabis Afghanica leaves look similar to Indica plant leaves, but they are even wider [C. Afghanica is a subspecies of C. Indica]. Now the SAGE are a true Sativa/Indica hybrid.

Thanks, vodoochild, the HVP's are the ones I'm looking forward to the most. That tree is called Vitex [agnus-castus] and is widely cultivated in warm, temperate and subtropical regions for its aromatic foliage and flowers. It grows to a height of 1-5 meters and requires full sun or partial shade along with well-drained soil. It's definitely an awesome cover plant and it attracts lots of bees and butterflies.

FYI , people also call it a chaste tree. And the whole plant is actually medicinal , the berries are considered a tonic for the male and female reproductive system. The leaves have to the same effect but to a lesser degree. This plant is also commonly called monk's pepper because it was originally used as anti-libido medicine by monks to aid their attempts to remain celibate. There are two other plants that look alot like herb and they are cleome and the texas star hibiscus. The texas star looks so much like herb that my grandmothers garden was looked over by cops only to find that it was hibiscus.
