Like I have mentioned I have been off the torch for 6 or 7 years until recently.. Alot of new tech's I havent tried.. So, I figured I'd try a windowed sherlock.. First time I've done it and just kind of broke it down in my head.. Took way too long.. Thanks for looking..

It's for sale, but someone on another site told me they wanted it within a minute of posting it.. I'm trying to get a confirmation from them as a few people seem interested.. =)

LOL.. That really seems like your intention here..
wow, i guess i charged way too little for my sherlys..lol
also, i suggest using denser colors for the outter layer.
it will give much more contrast..just trying to offer some help

This sherly has 2 layered windows, and a double reversal down the whole flute..
ok, you;re right. Im sorry for giving any suggestions, you are obviously too good for that.
i was seriously trying to offer help, but now that I see how you feel about this..i will point out the facts.
the only 3 windowed sherlocks ive ever made have all been features on gp. I also noticed that you uploaded pics of yours.....no feature.
i spent the time to figure this tech out on my own also, it takes a long time.
it seems that you have quite a skewed perspective..
some people might like my pieces, some people might like yours.
ok..i just realized that you probably think i was trying to steal a sale or something, or advertize my sherlys in your thread. Im sorry if you think that..mine are sold already. I didnt even realize that it could be mis-construed like that.

If you want to offer help hef, just start a thread, offering local artists some tips and what not , i think you will be better received. Also probably not the best idea to post pics of your glass in another glass blower's thread about selling his piece's>
Just my two cents, but guys you are both on the SAME TEAM. glass blower unite
jah made enough for everyone.
Lets see some comradery around here, and offer positive feedback>
Hef you have to see how throwing up pics of your glass in another guys thread and offering tips could be taken the wrong way>
I say delete the pics of your glass from his thread, start your own thread, and if you really want to offer help, in a nice way, start a TIps for glass blowing thread.
I am sure it would be extremly popular and probably show you guys you have more in common than not.
MY two cents

Look, I have no attitude, you came over here commenting on my price (even added an LOL) and pissing all over stuff.. You posted your pieces in my thread.. Your intentions were more then obvious.. I commented on your comment in my own thread, basically giving you back some advice myself, and now your going off about how you think your the shit and I'm an asshole, because you've had some pieces featured on GP, which really means nothing.. You dont know me obviously.. So, Im just gonna end it here and ask that you please try and be more curtious and respectful.. Thanks.. =)
i apologize for hijacking your thread. I never made any negative comments about your glass, i just made a suggestion about the outter layer. ANd i even made the same comment on gp (which ive deleted now), so it obviously wasnt just to post my stuff.
now, the fact that I pointed out something on gp doesnt mean im the shit. I dont think im the shit, i have alot to learn and i will take advice from anyone. I just felt like i would point out that alot of our peers had positive things to say about my work, althought you proceeded to pick apart whatever you could on my glass. I never said anything negative about yours. I guess that is where we differ. Didnt mean to cause a problem here, i would have no problems with people posting advice in my for sale threads (its happened to me before). i was thankful and i guess i thought i would offer the same, but you didnt take it like i did.
this isnt even a thread about him selling a piece..he was showing it off. I was just being honest. i guess ill lie from now on.

Actually, the piece WAS for sale.. Razz bought it.. But, thanks.. I didn't feel that my criticism back to you in my own thread was any different then what you had given me.. But, you seem to have your own perspective of things.. I was just trying to be helpful, as were you, I guess.. =)
cant we all just get a bong?
