a friend of mine did an experiment to see what kind of product (if any) came from using all his outdoor male plants. my conclusion is that the 45 & 25 micron products were the only smokable products in the bunch. i think this is due to the male plants producing resin heads that are much smaller than female plants or similar to sativas, with very tiny glands.
45 micron product (pictured below)- slightly chalky/green tasting but a very oily. as the numbers go up on the bags, the product only became worse and worse tasting so i think the best ones are the 45 & 25 (the smallest).

25 micron product (pictured below)- very oily with no chalky or green taste at all. i would consider this pretty good hash product (which shocked the hell out of me). when the bag for this one was pulled the product was white like flour but turned this brown/black during the drying process.
