Some.. well most of the buds you've been posting have been very poorly manicured. What's up? I'm guessing you grow them yourself?
Manicuring is for commercial weed and as you have gathered I don't do commercial. The leaves protect the resins till I puff them and are removed for hash making, prior to puffin. Peace GS
Some Mental Floss. Peace GS
Two different Sweet Skunks we puffed earlier. Peace GS
Piling up some really nice bud pics in here now mang. :)
I concur, the leaf and stem pile on the rolling tray makes for some very nice hash.
When you take as much care as GS in producing, and preparing herb to smoke, you can more easily appreciate the subtle nuances of various strains. Puffing on one of GS's joints is always a tasty pleasure, but never an accidental experience.
Trimmed nugs do sell better..... if yer into that.

I'm unsure how trimming buds is somehow correlated with commercial product. In no way is that accurate, but merely a preference.
Allowing leaves to stay on resinous flower tops creates a close surface that can easily bump, and bruise trichomes.
And what a mess to have crumbling leaves.
I really don't find the photos to be that outstanding, or interesting. Looks like a bright flash used on small nugs that have been poorly trimmed on purpose, with no macros/close ups.
And photos can NEVER express how truly good someone's smoke is.
Appreciate you letting us view your photos. But I just don't get all the excitement. It's sort of like these photos are intended for an esoteric crowd. And only they can be fully grateful to see them because they know you and have smoked with you.
Yes I use a $100 camera and consider myself no photographer. I figure even the worst examples presented consistantly in the same way, do provide a basis for comparison. My goal is to present variety. Sorry to have disappointed you, but maybe check this thread for a better camera on my work. Peace GS

I apologize for sounding like a thread troll, as well as disappointed, which I was not.
I meant no disrespect.
You are providing an interesting catalog of herb. I made it sound like a camera is indicative of a quality database, and it was untrue. You were giving an honest and objective comment on nearly every photo.
Peace times-Googleplex!
