A "banned" user named RazzorrMan sent me a PM inquiring about a potential virus detected within my forum usage (?), a pop up came up YES/NO to run a script, which was detected as HARMFUL to my computer.
I suggest not even opening up the PM.
Trying to help as many as possible!! :pray:

Not sure if it's related but there was a new member "AdministrationTeam" or something like that who joined a day or two ago but they don't show up on the members list. I only ask cause of the "team" ending. Is it actually an admin?

Anyhow, all users who are using firefox should download the plugin called NoScript. This will require YOU to specify sites which you trust. This plugin would have told which domain the script was hosted on and disallowed it to run by default.

If you have noticed anything out of the ordinary specifically speeds altering between programs, scan your computer for multiple things such as malware spyware trojans etc... I would normally suggest formatting prior to this point but seeing as you're on a Mac, you're probably in the green, if you know what i mean,Quote:

It's been confirmed the script opened through the Warning PM could be harmful, I would delete it.

oh .. and Vitaherb, you dont have a virus .. its bullshit spammers .. there trying to get you to goto thier webapge, there you will get a virus, and that virus will prompt you to buy their anti-vitrus software.
