ROOR shop AMSTERDAM

I was very happy to visit the ROOR shop for the first time this year at the cannabis cup>
its a very nice clean shop as you would expect from a company such as roor.
here are a few shots i got of the shelves of glass, as well as the howard marks cup entry this year they took second for in the best glass catagory.

the First photo is a piece martin gave me this year for promoting his product at Roor, very generous as always, he also gave batiba and hashbean a peace each for working at my booth and also promoting roor bongs.

hell of a shop, ill get out there sometime hopefully.....until then i will be content watching Darby crank out his incredible creations in the not nearly as clean and spotless garage!

Yo Bubbleman those shots would make any bong lover tear let alone a RooR connoisseur. Real cool of RooR for donating that tube looks as headies as it gets man. Nice Report professional and clean just as always.

I have to say, it was like being in some kind of heady shrine to be in that RooR shop. I went every day I was there. I'm sure I left drool spots on the floor. Lisa is awesome too, good people. I will throw up pics of my Amsterdam RooRs when they arrive.

their color work is getting really nice, they are catchin up to us guys!!

do you guys use photobucket or anything to resize, revamp the pics a little? i can touch up and rotate on my macbook, but that is about it. Sorry if i pissed some people off by posting non-RooR tubes in this RooR thread, i just feel strongly about supporting the hardworking family man in his garage, not the corporation tube company. I love RooRs and think they are immaculate tubes, and the work is getting better and better- i just cant throw my hard earned money at that company. Any help with pic resize would be much appreciated.

here are a couple tubes done in june 08 by my good friend and neighbor Eusheen (and i think his roomate Natey was in on it too). He called me up to come check em out before they were sent off cause they were his first upstem prototype, and he knew i used tubes more than him, and they needed a test run, haha. anyway they hit so damn smooth- stemless into diffused upstem inside the bubble. Go Eush! and Natey! Sorry again it's not a RooR, but i dont have a lot of RooR pics......It seems like everyone here is down with the Toro's......by buddy banjo does some collabs with JP here and there, and im over at his shop almost daily watching those pieces in creation, so if those pics will interest people, they are avaliable too- an man these tubes are fucking sick! banjo does it UP! he always tells me when he finishes one that "this is it, it is the one you should buy bro" but i never have found that perfect one.......still waiting........for that clinton/banjo collab toro. then it will be ON.

Interesting looking Bongs, but the sideways pics are giving me a kink in my neck. Any chance you can orient these correctly when you post?

Sorry man, I didn't mean to sound that negative. It's just that seeing them give away such extravagant pieces for free (hashbeans hard work) is hard for me to take. My most recent quote jumped 10% after they made the first version of the custom wrong and not to spec.

And if you look hard enough you can find pictures of my bongs, but I will not be selling them on the interwebs. Sorry if you wanted one ;)

they made a piece for me and made it wrong. When it was made again it was ten percent mroe (100 euros). They came back and claimed thwy made a mistake on the first quote.

All i was saying is that 10% they charged me must have paid for these free roors. Stop calling someone a whining kid cuz you're the one recieving the handouts.
After a bunch of customs, you'd think i would get discounts instead of restocking fees.

I'm suprised you hadn't been to the RooR shop until now Bubbleman. Its usually one of my 1st stops in town for smoking accessories. I love their rental policy, if your bong gets too dirty you can bring it in and they will clean it for you, CLASSIC :bong1:

Hey Herbster and Hashbean, Its all good guys, we love the bongs, herbster's just feeling bad vibes from having a bad business dealing hashbean, i wouldnt take it to personal.
I say I completely understand where your coming from herbster, and i dont know exactly the details, but it sounds like maybe you guys had a communication breakdown> I have had it with roor a few times, and they are close friends.
They are all mostly german speaking, and i think some things dont translate as well as we may hope.
I can tell you this much herbster, you would have been much better off dealing with them direct, and letting them know how you feel that coming on here and socialy poisening them.> I know martin well and if you simply email him your gripe and story, i would be very surprised if he didnt sort you out so you felt good about things.
I am sure the euro to what ever currency your rocking didnt feel good either, but hey if you are living a life thats blessed enough to allow you to purchase multiple custom german roors maybe your doing Ok, and things aren't so bad.
I welcome you to the comunity and hope that you stick around, and get everything sorted out with hashbean, he's really a great guy and worth knowing.
I also should say that i also received a gifted roor from martin for promoting and using the roors at my booth all cup week. The booth is a substantial amount of money ( thousands of euro's) and i figured as a friend i would offer a space at my booth and that i would promote his product, cause truly i love it that much> We never excepted anything in return for that, but both bean and batiba, as well as myself worked very hard all week long, packing literaly thousands of hits of bubble in the ROORs that Roor lent us for use during the cup. ( rentals basicaly)
This gave roor a good deal of cup exposure.
I think this was Roor's way of acknowleging our work as well as the value they felt they received by our work, ie by gifting us Roor's.
Either way i am thankful to martin and roor, and i hope that we can get you sorted out as well, so you feel better about ROOR, obviously you enjoy their bongs.

Hey greenmachine, yeah dude i hadnt been to amsterdam in four years. The year they actualy started building the shop> I remember hanging with martin and richard as they planned what they were going to do> Then i disappeared for four years, and only made my reappearance this year. Very lovely shop indeed. Lisa is a wonderful person to run it, two thumbs up for sure.
Nice to see you posting greenmachine, you have inspired me bigtime.

Hey all! I just came back from Amsterdam and brought back MANY Roors. Make sure they are clean and put them in your suitcase. No problem. Hope this helps.

Are those some of the first, and only i assume, .de percs? I saw the one Hashbean has a little while back and have been wondering who to ask since!

packing bowls all week must have been hard work, and you get re-paid with another tube you're gonna have to pack up too! rough cycle ain't it.

i was there i think two summers ago, so just before you i think and i cant remember anything like those pictures...pretty explainable in amsterdam but have they stepped up there game since then? i just remember seeing unworked kustum big brother little sister kinda stuff. that line work is so nice! i really hadnt seen anything from .de like that...
