KushKommander's Bubble Stash

Hello All, hope the hash is treating you all well...I made some bubble recently and thought I might as well document my runs and stash :D Ive made bubble many times before and experimented with different techniques, ive found the most efficient way for me is hand stirring with a wooden spoon and prechilling the mixture with 50/50 ice/water for 10-15 minutes before mixing, the outcome is a much cleaner product opposed to a drill with a paint mixing bit on the end, it wasnt bad but I am very picky when it comes to quality. so I got a few pounds of trim from a buddy to see if it was worth using and oh man was it :D

First mix was for 6 minutes, second mix for 15 minutes, third was done for 10 minutes but was given away, the first and second mixes were combined.

The lighter colored one is 73u and the darker one is 25u, both melt significantly but the lighter colored one melts away to white/grey ash while the darker one melts down to brown matter, both are very good high grade hash.

I just want to say thanks to bubbleman for this site and his bags, thanks to hillie for delivering the bags :D thanks man, and thanks to all you who share your input and advice, without it all I wouldnt have been able to learn to make this awesome extract :D

I use the Bubblebags 4 bag 5 gal set(220-160-73-25), I use the 160(red) for cooking, usually for me the melt is in the 73u(yellow)

Oh yes it is delicious, still trying to figure out how to get a good shot of the bubble in action, please be patient as im a camera newb lol any advice on how to get good bubble shots in action would be greatly appreciated.

I made some more bubble the other day, my first runs were from casey jones trim, my recent harvest was small but I still got a couple oz's of sugar trim. I hand mixed these batches as always and got some real nice full melt, it clear domes but I havent been able to capture it with my camera, here are some shots of the casey full melt:

Some more fine bubble to add to my collection, I used 60 grams of buds for this run and I mixed and pulled the bags 6-7 times...each time getting top notch quality :D my friend didnt believe we would get anything worthwhile after the 4th pull...he was shocked at the quality :D

That is the only 160u run I have ever kept for smoking, reason being the 160u usually has alot of plant matter so I give it to friends or throw it in with my cooking, this time around when I pulled the bag all I seen was shimmering glistening gland heads and I knew I had to keep it :D its better than the 25u but the 73u still takes the cake

I've always personally been a "one and your done" type guy when it comes to running my material, especially because I have more than enough material for myself. You mention processing the same material 7 times over? Really? Is it worth it? Do you reuse the water? Or just the material with fresh water? Are you hand mixing or using a bubblenow? Do you change your mixing times? Any information would help. I have just heard YBG doing multiple runs with same material as well as others. Wondering if it's worth the efforts. thanks.

I usually do it about 3 times and call it quits but I think it all depends on what quality and type of product your dealing with, when using trim or shake there is more of a surface area for the trichromes to get knocked off in the mixing process so less runs are needed, but when you are using whole buds the surface area is not flat and seperated it takes more and more mixing to access and knock off the trichs(even if you break up the buds)

I imagine this time if I would have only done 3 runs I would have lost half my yeild so the other 4 pulls were definately worth it. My buddy even did another run or two (8&9) and he got some ok hash but nothing I would keep definately cooking quality though.

I did add some fresh water but for the most part this time I tried to reuse the water, reason being is my water from tap isnt as cold as the already chilled ice cold water so it would melt my ice alot quicker (I used a 20 lb bag for all 7 mixes,5 lbs added every 2 mixes) I am handmixing for 5-10 minutes with a wooden spoon, every mix is timed pretty much the same.

So Id say if your starting material is reall high quality even smokable then its worth it to keep mixing and pulling your bags until you get next to nothing, that is just IMO as I dont like to see anything good goto waste. you should be able to tell when its not worth your effort anymore.

next time I run the casey jones buds through the bags I will make sure to take pictures of each pull so you all can see. thanks for checking out my thread and pics :D

How's the 90u, that's my favorite bag.

Nice, but did you notice the vapor inside the domes, from the moisture evaporating. That's a tell tale sign that it needs to be drier. Good luck and thanks for sharing. Peace GS

Oh yes those melt pics of the casey jones did still have moisture in them, you can tell from the first picture, it had only been drying about a day but I had to try it :D I still have some of the casey and its been almost 4 weeks, compare and contrast from when it was first posted on 3-12 to my next update, stay tuned...

its been quite a while since i updated this thread, now adays the hash just doesnt stay around long enough for pics :D. I had a friend recently harvest so we made some hash with blueberry diesel(about 40g semi dry), and strawberry cough(150g dry), kept the strains seperate :D however i only used 220/160/73/25.

so here we go!
before we tossed the SC trim in with the ice, we took 10-14g at a time and carded it in the bubblebox across the screens a few times.... end result was about 2g of really nice looking sift, then carded through the remaining screens and we got some semi melty sift in the 107u and some nice melt action with the 70u screen.

Dude get the smallest wide mouth mason jars..........BADASS! Cheap ($4.19 for 4 with lids), airtight, and glass! By them now! I got mine at Target.......bought like 4 packs the guy at the checkout was like "doing some jarring?" I was like "something like that" :snake: LMAO
