Aquired this from afropips off cbay. Quite a few unexpected characteristics to this one. It has a very interesting smell of fruits and strong spice, almost like an indica sativa hybrid. The smell was similar to that of UK Cheese but the overwhelmign spice coupled with hints of melon and fruit disguises it well. Its definatly one of my favorite smelling sativas.

The texture of it was great, not too airy and loose, had a good calyx to leaf ratio when you got into it, though the calyx themselves werent that large. It produced a good amount of frost inside and outside of the bud and down about half the fan leaves. Not a good producer for hash by any means due to the med sized heads and lack of frost on the fan leaves.

High was not too strong but it was long lasting and fairly heavy in the head. There wasnt any real body effects to report on but this could trick some patients as the head change is a more laid back effect. Pretty easy to tell when you have used this as you can catch yourself staring off into the distance with your thoughts tickin away but not getting much done.

Comment: Big solid spears on this one, the nugs are long and skinny with each individual nug being fairly tight but the overall density on the maristem is a bit fluffier than some indicas we are used to

Rate the visible trichome content from 1-10 none-totally covered.
Comment: Good amount of milky white trichomes on this one, usually sativas with longer flowering times have smaller resin heads which is not the case with this malawi gold. It has nice solid heads on short stalks that mature at different times throughout bloom. Another interesting thing was how this strain has more non glandular trichome stalks than ive ever encountered before, its got at least twice as many long skinny stalks as any of the "white" strains I have come across

Comment: Pretty close to perfect density on this one, breaks down very nice and has a very joint and pipe friendly texture. All of the calyx are solid yet easy to break down between your fingers.

Comment: Stinky!!! This stuff smells fantastic! its like a cross between UK cheese and fruit with a heavy dose of something spicey, it almost stings your nose how strong the smell of this it. Its astringent and fresh smelling at the same time. A real skunky tropical treat that brings out so many truley unique smells you wont know where to begin. It really does smell something similar to a fruity hazey cheese, you have to smell it to know what I mean.

Comment: Not that strong of a flavor here, has an earthy taste with a sweet fruity background that has a good bit of spice with it. Slightly harsh grassy flavor to it when smoked in large loads.

Comment: Two hits gets a nice warm headchange, but three is where you start to get a bit more spacey.

comment: Slight creeper to it, the first hit gets you about halfway there. It takes another 10 minutes or so after the initial hit to get to the peak of this strain.

comment: Has a definite sativa head to it, but the overall feeling is slightly heavy and floaty. Its not a racy energetic sativa unless pulled a little earlier.

comment: Was surprised by the heavy feeling to this one, it has no body high but the sluggish feeling is all in your head. Really makes the eyes heavy after a while.

comment: All around potency an 8, for a purer sativa it scores well because it is competing with stuff that is heavily selected or clone only.

comment: biggest plus to this strain is the length of the high, it slowly creeps up and down, some call this "waves" of effects. It never really builds up any higher overtime, but when you start to get used to it there is a little nudge and your stoney again.

comment: been smoking this for a few weeks now and I have little to no tolerance buildup to it, but when you smoke a lot of other varieties with this one, the potency is greatly diminished.

comment: Great for smoking right after work or before dinner, calming and relaxing and long lasting. I dont think you would be able to make yourself nod off from this one, but it does have the tendency to make your eyes feel heavy.

u really need to do this lil test with a vaporizer..personally i think it gives the nugs tru characteristics when u inhale it
