Hey guys thanks for the kind words. I am stoked to be getting this level of shots no doubt about it.
I thank you sub for working the strain, i think green for growing it so damn well, and well i thank my gear ( yes same as monkey's) for the great shots.
I am shooting at a 100 iso, with a 200 shutter speed and my fstop was 4.0 on these shots.
all taken with a manfrotto tripod using a 410 gear head. Shot the plants all living at green's, which is definitly why they look so great.
You can see the first pics were dried bud's and they dont quite look as lovely as the fully alive growing glands.
I use live view on my camara which has a 5x and a 10x optical zoom, so it will give me an idea of how it will look cropped. Also helps me zoom it in and refocus.
I am getting so damn close that the amount of camera shake is UNREAL.
but as you can see, you can still get a pretty decent shot.
I will try and post these over at breedbay later on today.
Give thank for coming over for a visit though. always a pleasure..

Fantastic photos.
Could you include 1 shot of the whole plant, I understand this about Macro, but I'd like to see the the whole lady too or at least a Bud shot.
JC is a strain I've been lusting after for years now :) Great work GS!
As I study the Macro's I notice the different plant parts, like clear hairs and small little clear to white spots, below the main Trich Stock, depending on what area you take the pic from, ie; Leaf or Bud.
Some great shots of Amber and clear trichs, nice to show people who don't know about that stuff! You can see it!

Great to see your photography skillz growing by leaps and bounds Bman. You are really starting to get that lens dialed in & I'm sure having such beautiful specimens to shoot helps too( good growin GS) . If your experiencing a big problem with lens shake, which is pretty common after 4-5x mag you might wanna try using the self timer or a shutter release cable if you haven't all ready.

Hey there man. Thanks for the nice comments. Hopin to see new work from you here soon. Peace GS

I use a wireless shutter button to help avoid camera shake....
GS's stuff is always top notch.

Well I do use my timer guys, and have thought about getting a wireless shutter button but its actualy the mirror inside my camera that opens to take the picture that gives my camera the shake. thats how crazy it is.
I don't mind taking shots using the timer, but i find sometimes it helps for me to keep my hands on the camera as i an do some last minute adjustments to the shot as the timer runs down.
I can only imagine how much more gnarly the shake will get when i figure out a way to get 10x
Thanks for the good words greenmachine, i am definitly lucky to have the specimens around to shoot, what better way to practice that shoot beautiful subjects.
Thanks green
