I would say the colour of the hash does for sure. AS its those terpenes and terpenoid oil thats produce much of the colour that is there. It is the oils that turn to a smokey then amber colour and it is the oils that are affected by oxygen and light as well as heat. Oxydization turns them a different colour> However i have no scientific fact in this next statement i do think its fairly true. The clear dome that bubbles out of the hash, could be a form of extremly pure thc. as i have heard it is colourless and odorless. COuld this be pure thc bubbling up from the oils?
hard to say, I have seen clear domes with flakes of gold and amber in them, perhaps left over pieces of the oils.

I wonder does pure thc change colour when it ages?
yes it will , if its been exposed to oxygen or light. It will turn a reddish purple.
