amazing how may Coltrane lovers out there SUNship has got to be my fav, studio album...
but seriously diggity
that Antibes shit from '65 is the bee's knees
I have some of that on vinyl and CD
I also love Eric Dolphy esp. some of the stuff he recorded with Mingus...
How about Miles Davis anybody like Bitches Brew ..one good fusion, elec. jazz album w.
Zawinul and Hancock on the keys...
how about Pharoah Sanders I think Tauhid was a ground breaking album for that hard-free jazz sound. Pharoah has some amazing guitarist on there too.
Pharoah is so lyrical in his tone...
For Thelonius Monk check out his later Black lion releases... truly awesome shows his skills were there even when his mind wasn't

Jazz is my jaunt.
I've been getting down on some Dave Brubeck all morning.

Cal Tjader- morning. Beautiful song but there are several versions. Look for the trackss on agua dulce and descarga I believe. Also check out the song titled, what are you doing for the rest of your life? Great one.
Among other jazz artists I like:

stan getz
charles mingus
django reinhardt
Coletrane
davis
Herbie Hancock
Ernie Ranglin
