Default Batch #3, Sister M, Dry buds

Time to post the 3rd batch. Pretty much the same as the others, except for with the Sister M I reserved a lot more bud for hashmaking, I think each starting pile of bud was 382g wet weight, 1 pile dierctly to the freezer, 1 pile dried bone dry and then into the freezer. This material sat in the deep freeze (not a mushy-popsicle fridge freezer) for about 6 weeks (minimum requirement for this experiment is 2 weeks deep frozen).

Trimming up the pile of Sister M:

Again I kept the cream of the crop, approx the top 1/3 for nice bud to smoke, and the rest went into the hash piles.

It was -35C outside when I made this batch, so I thought I'd take advantage of it and pre-chill the bucket and bags out on the deck:

Thats my little ghetto pollem shaker laying on the step beside the bucket .

    Default The first 2 bags...

So remember how I thought it would be good to chill the bags and bucket to -35C? Well when i went to pull the bags, I found that there were actually ice crystals forming between the bags. Now thats a cold mix! Maybe too cold? Got some ice in the hash as I pulled the bags, but it melted out ok on the pressing screen.

The 190u bag and 190u icey hash:

The 160u also had ice crystals in it:

The ice didnt seem to affect the final hash at all.....
