Started with the wire sieve technique. It leaves too much on the tools for small batches.

    Default Another tasty batch......

The trim from my last harvest has been curing in the freezer for about 8 weeks, its time to make some hash.

It's all the trim and popcorn from several different plants, including a Sweet Blue, Sister M mom, some Random Yukon Kush, a Mezmakronic mom, and several each Mezmakronic and Sister M plants from seed. Quite a mix, in a proportion that may not be repeated. Total starting material totaled 234g.

Mixing times will be 3 minutes, 6 minutes, and mix the frikin hell out of it.

On with the pictures, here is the trim:

First mix set for 3 minutes

Water color after the first spin:

Here is what the 220µ bag caught, mostly red pistilate hairs:

Second mix set for 6 minutes:

Water color after the second spin:

    First run patties:

    Chopped up:

Here is the 220µ bag after the second mix:

    Water color after third spin:

    Second run patties:

    Chopped up

220µ bag after the third spin, lotta vegetive matter in there

    Third run patties:

    chopped up

Here are the first run various grades close ups
    120µ

    90µ

    73µ

    45µ

    25µ

I will post some more pics when the hash is dry, and tasted. The entire room while I was making this hash smelt divine, as does the wet hash. Even the 160µ first run is super sugary.

Shorter mixing times = better hash. You can see it clearly in the pictures.

wow. I think I will need to order a bubblenow sometime soon. Handmixing never delivers such consistant results, I also struggle to keep my mixing 'technique' constant through-out (arms get tired pretty quick), so mixing times and results vary. And that sucks.

Nice job YBG, try to get some melt shots up!

    Default Hash is dry

So here it is, 5 days later, and the hash is dry. Time for a lil update.

Here is all the dry hash:

    The various first runs:

    Piled hash:

    160µ first run:

    120µ second run:

Starting with the 90µ, all 3 runs are smokeable until the 25µ.

    90µ first run:

    90µ second run:

    90µ 3rd run:

    Here are the 73µ hashes:

    first run

    second run

    third run

    Here are the 45µ hashes:

    first run

    second run

    third run

    25µ first run:

    Bagged smoking hashes:

    Rundown on grades/weights:

    190µ all 3 spins = 0.1g
160µ first run to smoke 0.3g, the rest for cooking 0.3g
120µ first&second run to smoke 0.7g, rest for cooking 0.7g
    90µ first 1.7g, second 1.7g, 3rd 1.7g, all to smoke
    73µ first 1.9g, second 2.2g, 3rd 2.2g, all to smoke
    45µ first 1.4g, second 1.6g, 3rd 3.2g, all to smoke
    25µ all 3 runs 1.3g, for cooking

Total weight of all dry hash = 21g
Started with 234g of dry trim and popcorn buds, so near 10% return.
I probably could have spun the shit out of it a 4th time for a bunch of dirty green hash for cooking... but fuck it, that real green stuff aint so tasty.

Tested all grades on my Bubbleman Amsterdam edition RooR (my dedicated hash bong) as I was preparing this thread, and have a nice 'thick-headed' buzz goin on, with only a slight sleepy factor.

Hope you all enjoyed the show, cya next time.
