    Default Ambient/Experimental

There has been some music I have always been into.
It's just kinda hard for a lot of people to listen to though.

    Phillip Glass
    Brian Eno
    Robert Fripp
    Boards of Canada
    Dogon
    Popal Vuh
    Moonshake

Is there anybody else who listens to such absract things?

hi subadai...i will have to check out dogon. i haven't heard of 'em. I'm all over the place...not into a particular genre...running from terry riley/steve reich to stars of the lid - boards of canada - bill laswell - fred frith - ornette coleman and the warp record hordes - on and end. but, yeah, please hit me with some new names and I will check them out...

speaking of which - an..um...very close friend of mine has posted some experimental (at least by some reckoning) music up on his my space page...excellent music for that fine, fine bubble experience...

    hi mayan2012
Haven't been on the forum lately,
Yeah, I'm very interested in getting new names. Ive been hearing of some bands based in Quebec. "Do Make Say Think" is one of the ones ive been listening to. I have heard of Silver Mountain Zion" is one other bands ive heard of.
I'm also really interested in "Neo-Classical" music. Especially Philip Glass kind of stuff. Rather Minimal.

No im not a musician. i used to play Trumpet and a Tuba, and can read music at a VERY rudimentary level. But i do like Glass's 24 over 14 switching to 14 over 14 time signatures. Jeeze i always thought he was using triplet figures.

I forgot all about Fred Firth,Damn!

k, so im gonna listen to some Ornette, never heard of hear.

I like your friends music. Good.

I also am into Goth/Punk/Grunge Music as well. (am i dating myself?)
