lol its not hard at all...just take off the base plate and the heater cover, then once the base plate is off, look inside and you will see screws holding in the cermic heater. unscrew them and pull the ceramic heater out through the inside and thats it. works just as good as any hakko

I'm a bit of a vapor 'snob' but the after taste of ash on my ceramic heater would ruin the SSV vapor experience. Oh well at least its a two in one device for you. Gotta love the home rigged shit for sure
