Beware: Cheap Chinese Stems
Hey guys,
here to share a little horror story of mine. This happened about a month and a half ago. My girlfriend had a migrane, and of course the sublingual medication they offer doesnt do a damn thing. So i went to clean the piece before i packed her a snap in my zob. Problem being, the bowl and stem were locked in tight. It began to shift, and so i just torqued a little bit more. To my dismay, the stem shattered, leaving a nice big spike and a 2 inch gash on my palm. Sadly, my girlfriend with the migrane had to take me to the ER to get 8 stiches. And this is how I discovered FMB, trying to find some nicer glass that isnt going to shear under a little bit of torque. If i can find some pics i will put them up.
Here is a lesson for you, either put the bong in the freezer, be gentle with it, or buy a strong stem!
