    Default Happy Valentines Day flowers Macro

    well anothe valentine's day has past, and i couldnt resist the urge to purchase my wife some beautiful flowers. I honestly have always loved having flowers around the house, but since getting my macro lens, i am even more partial than ever.
    here are the ones i got with my MPE lens at 1:1

    are you using color filters? the purple ones are cool, the way they darken up at the outside edge is a neat effect up that close

    No colour filters here FTW, these are just coloured roses. I suppose probalby fed coloured water in order to change the pigment of the actual flower.
    all i can say is they sure do look beautiful.
    picked up a new 60mm macro lens yesterday so will go back and shoot them from a greater distance to give full head shots.
