Man the reflections in some of the heads, especially the second picture are freaky. Nice of you to share with us. Peace GS

    Default awesome man

Great shots Green machine, welcome to the canon MPE elitist pot site lol

ITs great to have more people shooting with this lens. Those shots look great, did ya work em thru photoshop?

not sure if you have had much difficulty in cleaning your sensor, but in that last shot all those little spots are sensor dust shadows. YOu can get rid of those with a cloning tool as well as just clean your sensor manually.

Definitly killer refraction shots where the trichome show up upside down in the head. YOu have inspired me.

I shot all day today at dr atomics garden where he had two large northern lights male in the room pollinating the females.
    Coming soon.....

Northern Lights Male .... Pay close attention to the glands on the male plant.

Green Supreme glad you enjoyed the pics man, macros are my forte

Bubbleman I shoot with Nikon equipment, hence the friendly little jab.....I only cropped and resized the pics, no other touch up was done......yeah some of those were take with my old camera body, which was way over due for a sensor cleaning, when you start getting up around 10x mag dust spots start to become a problem. Thankfully my new cam has a self cleaning sensor, tho we'll see how useful it is when I put it thru the paces......nice looking trics on that cambo haze.......I've found exotic sativas have the some of the longest trichomes I have seen.

Oh right on green machine i didnt even notice. im so bubbled.
I thought the pics looked different from most taken with an MPE, but now that you say nikkon that makes, sense. I can't remember his name, but another member on this site has some really cool nikkon macro shots as well.
anyway here's to taking it to the next level.

    Peace

I decided to take advantage of the reflective nature of trichome heads and some canna art was born.

awesome shots green machine. I have long wondered about refractions in trichome heads. I have seen some unreal stuff from LORDV on flickr, and dgrin.com and figured it must be possible
Perhaps once i get a little clearer and sharper image's, i will be able to play this new game as well.
    thanks for the inspiration.

now if you can get one with bubblebags in the trichome head, that may be worth a set of bags .

GS no space is too small to rent in todays world

Bman I checked out LORDV's pics and they are stellar indeed.....I've been too lazy to try focus stacking until now but his pics have opened my eyes.....yeah I can't wait to see what you can come up with, your lens is definitely capable......thats funny I was thinking the same thing at the time I took these, your wizard logo would look sic inside the tric head......I used an old Amsterdam lighter placed behind my subject, I'm sure you could repeat the results with any image if it was small enough
