    Default New piece..

2nd bubbler I have done in 6 or 7 years... Unfortunately I went blindly into this one and used super unobtanium for my horns.. They keep crackling on the surface even after ramping it down 25 degrees an hour for a couple days.. I spent a week fighting this thing, and finally gave up after slumping the front disk a bit and divitrifying the crap out of it the whole battle.. Anyhow, Its still cool, and I figured I'd at least post what I came out with.. Bummer.. She's about 20 inches long.. Stemless bub..

Nice piece james. To bad about the cracks> reminds me back when that moss green was cracking like mad. Such a bummer to put so much work into a piece like that, and have it crack. Still looks great though

I had two friends that worked at Northstar making moss.. The original millennium moss was the bomb! It was made with old television tubes, which they ran out of, and is why it got kind of weird there for a while.. I was fortunate to buy many pounds of it before they stopped making it, and still have ALOT.. There were however some nasty weird batches after they ran out of television tubes and were using other shit to try and duplicate what they had.. It was even discontinued there for a while..

yeah i remember when it was discontinued. I saw marbleslinger bust out a few sick piece's with that shitty moss green colour, and have them just crack all over.
It was a real shame, quality glass makes quality glass go figure .
