Happy 4/20 from whistler BC

well happy 4/20 fellow bubble enthusiasts. Hope you guys had as killer a day as i did.
I went up to whistler with an old friend, and we hit the slopes for a nice long ride down, at the bottom of the whistler ( today was whistlers last day of the seasons, however blackcomb is opened till mid june), there was a full size stage for the telus festival with a local band FREEFLOW playing. we took of our boards and ski's, and watched for a bit. I knew michael franti and spearhead were playing the last concert on this stage for the day at around 3:30 so i went back to my vehicle quickly and changed out of my snowboard gear and came back just in time to see michael and spearhead take the stage. WOW what a great show they played, I have seen spearhead at least a half a dozen or more times, and can say this was by far the best.
All around good times.

Nice one Bubs , great pics as usual. The one in Vancouver was said to be over 10,000. Couldn't believe not even a peep about it today in the Province newspaper. What other group can gather in those numbers and get no mention in the paper. Peace GS

Dollar never heard of em, i remember seeing something simliar in a movie by the farrely brothers some years ago, where the one legged chick was dating some dude with no legs, and he had something like those on his stumps, and man could that guy run. go figure

yes I tamon, Spearhead was great to see up at whistler. They put on such a great show, i can't imagine them not coming back for next year. whoo hooo.
blaze the fya mon, and enjoy your reggae vibes.

I can believe it green, they love to ignore our little group,unless its some negative news they can blow out of proportion and make cannabis look bad, they won't bother.
oh well, at least we know whats what.

yeah dude, those things are fuckin dope.

Ive seen cats running and chasing each other across the playa, big groups of them playing tags and shit. they can run, juke, jump.. Ive even seen kids dance in them.. its insane
