Lol? fully glass on glass grommet?

EH we have a good ol Candida coinky dink here

lol i was tired of my grommet ( i like em but i like GonG to) and i went out and bought a "Conversion kit" which turned out to be just a 14m>18f and a plain 18mm bowl and it turns out that the whole where they drilled to place the grommet has the texture of a ground glass joint so i put the stem into the bong and out of some anomily (failed spelling in grade 2 dont get angry at my grammer) it seals without the grommet stays in place and is air tight

just wondering if any one has had this happen to them

Somehow I know what you did. I did the same sort of ghetto rig with a broken bushing downstem that I filed down.
