Well there certainly is a difference in dry sifting and wet washing>
the washing is a kind of transfer chamber and allows for an incredibly clean product to be produced by even an amateur.
DRy sifting with any number of screens is still an artform, and not just anyone can pull it off.
If that were so, we would be seeing many more pictures of melty dry sift, ( not just the ones im posting) out there. Look online and see how many people are producing melty bubble , now thats a different story. hundreds if not thousands have posted photos of their hash melting.
Dry sifting is an artform, and fullmelt dry sift is not nearly as easily attainable as fullmelt bubble, made with wet washing technique's.
I would also that say that yes absolutely generaly speaking dry sift is going to have a much fuller taste. HOwever i have seen many strains over the years, rene being one of my favorite ones, that have retained every last bit of their odour right down to the final wash, and drying process.
I have always told people the best way to attain your taste, without sacrificing your quality is to add a small percentage of dry sift back to your bubble. ( ie bounce the same trim your working to make bubble with first, to get those aromatic lost terepenoids.)
The amount of taste that can be lost, is a lot less compared to the amount of purity that can be lost. I have made lots of dry sift and can tell you its a real challenge to do it right, and make the highest quality, and even still, when i shoot that sift with my macro lens, it looks wayy more contaminated than my bubble.

Still love em both thats for sure.

Never could figure why anyone would want to decide one way or another only. I think both have a place separately and together. Peace GS
