Thumbs up My visit to the RooR HQ Germany

Thx Hashbean and Batiba for the inspiration. It's been a trip ive wanted to make since i 1st met the RooR team at Cannatrade and Cannabusiness shows.

Breaking my RooR was the perfect reason to finally make the trip.
I hopped onto a train and headed north. An hour later I was crossing into Germany, a couple hours later I arrived in Mannheim, was picked up at the train station and wisked off to RooR in nearby Frankenthal.

Here is the Shop *if your driving there i hope u have a navigator*

    Talking let's walk in

Don't all rush in at once, and be careful with your backpacks.

Thumbs up Who needs a bong...

    Oooh my!

Which one do I pick. I should have shot it as well but behind me was a similar shelf full of bongs.

I think this one will do nicely.

    Lightbulb RooR workshop

Here is one of 2 lathes used to make the bongs.

Careful not to leave any greasy fingerprints, the bongs are wiped using a towel and gently placed in the lathe

The flame is applied to the area of the bong that is going to be worked on.

The lathe turns the bong round and round at and even speed so the whole area is heated evenly

Looking through the bottom of the bong.

today i talked to marc about the research and he said he is able to do the bowls one more without having the prototypes so you don`t need to send them...

2 of them work very well.

    Lightbulb Coloured ice-catcher holes

This sequence shows the coloured ice-catchers being made.
    Starting with the green.

1st the bong is heated in the general area, then the coloured glass is heated and applied to the bong.

The green glass is melted into the bong wall so there are no edges.

Then using a shaped carbon rod, the molten glass is slowly pushed in.
