from moldy buds to hash

my buddy recently has had a major case of bud rot...totally devastated his crop...but with this plant even when she takes she gives back

So is there any actual mold spores, or mold smell/taste left in the hash? How's it smoke? Any further processing required now to remove any of that? I have many people tell me that ice hash from moldy buds is no good when I suggest that's what they do with it. I'd like to tell them they can recover something for thier efforts.

hehehe woah.....good eye....the hash came out allright....defintly not fmcd...but from the pile of literal trash you can't get mad....to use moldy buds in bubble you must freeze the material which kills the spores....do your run....and add fresh water and ice to the machine for your second and third washes....

ok so i harvested and jarred everything up a lil early kinda was a deal of harvesst and move and just had to much going on the bud never grew hairy mold it just grew mold spots on the stems but you can deffinatelly tell the difference betweenfrom the molded stuff from the unmolded ive been oulling unmolded out here and there and smoking it only problem is your thread here calls for still green plant matter the second i seen it start to mold i paniced and spread it all out on blank newsprint my ole lady snags from her art classes works perfect so now i got roughly 3/4 of a pond of dried and some of the herb is very nice to smoke very stoney deffinate chair lock ive msde hash outta the cuttings and i was paralized for 3 weeks then the hash ran out lol but beings im staerting with much drier material is there anything i should think of doing differentally and also the fact that theres still alot of good smokeable bud in the mix so im sure im gonna get back alot more than im expecting to be honest not much of it even had the mold spots but even some of the buds that were just sitting next to one that did and it smells moldy now anyways if anyone has any ideas to help me save as much of this as i can im all ears this will be my oh 5th time making it so im a lil skilled at making it i got the motion down to get the water out of the smaller bags thats for sure hope to hear back from someone soon have a happy new year

even though its 100% dry still freeze it ehh your the bubble master bro so ill take your word for it how long would u freeze it for beings its bone dry living in a desert does that to things in mason jars or not
thanx so far if you could answer the last couple ?'s that'd be great i got my ice and im pretty much ready to go one last thing in the pictures there i see that theres several plates with hash on them how many times should i run it in the machine before its time to trash obviouslly i wanna get the most i can and it still be smokable and still get ya loaded the reason why i ask because in one of the pics up there it shows a shit ton of paper plates with hash on them thanx for the timely reply ill check later on to see whatcha had to say have a nice day and happy new years man Doh i only have one question because you said to keep it in the freezer overnight but ya how many times was it ran i have the hash now washing machine so how many times should i run ir and for how long each time and what i mean by how many times run it how many times do i refill the ice and the water and let the machine run for just once or is going to be more productive to run this stuff a couple times only reason i ask is in the pics theres a shit ton of plates sitting there and i typically only keep the bottom 3 anything else i give away theres some sort of technique that someone told me was listed on this site on how to get all the spores out as well with simply water ??

nm i think i found my answer too because up at the top you refer to running it 1-3 times so im taking it that i fill the machine once drain it into bags empty out bags scrape up what ya got then add more ice and water and do this samething 2-3 more times each time emptying the water and whatever hash you can collect up then after this lay it all out and used the paper plates cause they can easily be written on n trashed tell me if im on the right path here or if i veered off a lil or im way the hell out in left field thank you very much
