    Question Pollinator & Bubblebags?

I ran my pollinator for its first run and collected about 2.5 ounces of kief. The problem is that there's defiantly contaminants in the kief. I was wondering in order to purify and cleanse the kief would it be wise to run them through a set of bags to separate the small to large trichomes from one another? The pollinator definately speeds up the whole process of screening the 5+ lbs of shake and possibly making large batches instead of a bunch of small ones. Any thoughts would be awesome, i can post pictures when I find my camera.

You definitly want to clean up that grade of hash.. and there are a few different ways of doing it. I have seen people drop the ounce's of dry sift into the bags and water and seperate out all the contaminant that way.. or you can resift the resin that you have. By placing it on top of a tighter meshed screen.. i would start with a 120u.. and then keeping what fell thru that one.. i would then run it over a 45u. This process will be very slow.. but if you gently card the resin back and forth you will produce a very nice grade of sift.
Make sure you share some photos with us if you have them.. would love to see your first grade and second grade and final grade sift.

    Default Found the camera

I will post pictures of the pre sifted product first. Prior to posting this thread I already ran a small test batch through the bags with water to purify the kief. I will post those as well. Bubbleman, do you suggest using the bags as the screens? Because that's probably the only ones I have instant access to at the moment. I found that they plume with dust and make quite the mess and stick to the insides of the bubblebags. But I guess if you gently use the card method like you described above it would be a little less messy. What do you suggest?
